Band Together is a collection of 20 flexible activities designed for woodwind, brass and percussion teachers in all group learning environments; band programs, group lessons, tutorials, and ensembles.
Each activity provides step-by-step lesson plans, extension activities, points for discussion, and comprehensive teacher notes. Activities are aural-based and explore composing, arranging, improvisation, technical work and ensemble skills. Opportunities are also created for performance outcomes.
Band Together caters for classes of mixed instruments and multi-level groups, and can be adapted easily for general classroom music programs.
