7 Trombones or Trombone Choir with Rhythm Section Å_Cliffe HanginÅ_ was scored so that it can be performed by three experienced trombonists (parts1-3) and four beginning-level trombonists (parts 4-7). Conductors are w elcome to assign multiple performers to each trombone part (the premiereperformance featured Wycliffe Gordon and two advanced school musicians on parts 1-3, and almost 50 trombonists aged 9-16 were assigned to parts4-7). The rhythm section parts can be played by beginning-level perform ers (playing suggested parts) or embellished by experienced players. Andremember: All trombonists must have a plunger!
