Charmingly cryptic, the title Five Related Miniatures lures us in to decipher how the five movements are related Œ_ the musical content is also charmingly cryptic! The 15-minute suite for two violins was composed for Cecilia and Martin Gelland, and is written to show off the virtuosity of the two players.
