The Hanika Natural PF Torres Concert Line Classical Guitar combines exceptional craftsmanship with high quality materials to create an instrument that offers a full sound and crisp tone. Attack and sustain on this guitar are well balanced with each other, meaning it responds well to many styles of playing.
Made in Germany, the Natural PF is made from a range solid tonewoods that are carefully selected to ensure a high standard of quality. The head plate is made from a triple-layer rosewood-maple-rosewood construction, while the back and sides are made from East Indian rosewood. Inside, you’ll find a symmetrically weighted domed spruce wood soundboard and Torres bracing. Rosewood is considered to be one of the most universal tonewoods for guitars; combining it with the thin spruce wood soundboard helps give the Natural PF its good attack, full sound and crisp tone. The neck is laminated using the best cedro hardwood, while the fretboard uses a high quality African blackwood. Gold-coloured bushed tuning machines with ebony pegs completes the build.
The Hanika ‘Natural’ finish is a special feature on this guitar. This very thin varnish/wax sealing makes the finish less sensitive to the stresses that typically occur when an instrument is played. This thin finish helps produce a particularly open and transparent sound.
