With the NEW CENTURY model we have developed another modern guitar – designed for the individual requirements and needs of our guitar players. The combination of a double top (sandwich construction with cedar/nomex/carbon) and a lattice bracing made of spruce brings a little more dynamics and balance. The flat top construction together with the steeper excitation angle, caused by the "elevated fingerboard", also supports these requirements.
With the "elevated fingerboard" construction new standards are set. They enable easier playing in higher positions and the monitor sound hole ensures better self-awareness. With the new bridge made of thermo-modified chequers tree, a significantly lower weight and less damping is achieved than with a rosewood bridge. The armrest ensures comfortable playing.
This combination makes the NEW CENTURY DTL an exceptionally good instrument in terms of price/performance in upscale, modern classical guitar construction.
