Summer bird was inspired by the excited activity of the birds in our garden and by the sea birds of the Great Barrier Reef. Four of the works are for solo trumpet; Summer Bird, Alone, Blue Triangle and Birdwing whileDance Song and Still Life are with piano accompaniment.
