These pieces will provide effective, enjoyable and different concert/festival material for intermediate players. 'Jazzy Recorder 1' has been composed with the aim of giving players of very moderate range and ability and easy introduction to the jazz idiom. The accompaniments are very rhythmic in order to encourage the correct interpretation of the solo part.Although based on swing styles, this is by no means a book of simple "F un Music", the individual items being substantial enough for concert or festival presentation.
