Lisa Wallace has produced a new series for violin, viola, cello and double bass called Popular Workshop, ‘For the joy of playing for friends, family, busking or just for yourself’.
The books have a varied repertoire of popular pieces - nursery rhymes, gentle songs, spirituals, folk songs, Christmas melodies, reels etc, plus bit of jazz/blues – with the idea that there will always be something well known and suitable to play for any occasion.
