An easy basic course with emphasis on the melodic approach. A teacher who prefers a slower-paced instruction for beginners may start the pupil (or class) on Book A, proceed into Book B, then go smoothly into Book 2. The teacher desiring a medium speed approach may start beginners on Book 1 & then go to Book 2.
